13 great web 2.0 and open source programs for your classroom

[[posterous-content:pid___0]]Come check out my latest lens on Squidoo, where I incorporated a lot of the web 2.0 and open source software articles that I wrote on my Bo Gorcesky profile page on Associated Content.

This lil Squidoo covers articles on web 2.0 sources to help edit film such as Jaycut along with a video tutorial and other great digital storytelling tools. I also have several articles on the great educational social networking tool Edmodo.

Build the Lens with Keywords to promote content

After learning about web "lenses" I have been trying to connect all of my writing together in order to reach my largest audience possible. I got to search for hot keywords using the Google Keyword Tool to find out what were the current keywords that I could develop my writing together and help create backlinks. I then got to go to the site, Squidoo, where I could compile links of my best stuff from my Associated Content page into a searchable list. Squidoo is really easy to use, it is kind of like a web page creator and blogging platform.

Harry Potter 7, Part 2 review - 8 Films and This is the Ending that I Get?!

It looks like I made the wrong decision to have Associated Content make this film review "exclusive" as I wrote it about two weeks ago and they just gave me the published OK. SO anyways, I am not hte biggest Potter geek out there, but I was really let down by the ending of the film. You can read the full review by going to my Associated Content page and CLICK HERE
