My first adventure using the BookCreator app
has been an interesting one. I had my students research the Elements and Principles of Art, then create a piece of art that showcases that understanding.
BWMS art students focused on the Principle of Design - "Movement" by using the web 2.0 tool, GIF UP, the free GIF animator.
By utilizing the built in web cam of the netbooks, students choreographed sequences where they could cycyle their 9 images. The site is free, simple to use and allows user to publish their animation into a variety of social networking sites and even edit the photos.
